Do you know what a min pin is?

The name Miniature Pinscher or minpin is deceiving.
I know we look like small Doberman Pinschers, but we are not!
We both may have come from the German Pinscher and we did
originate in Germany, but we are not related. Minpins probably
came from a mix of Dachshound and a greyhound. We don't
know for sure. Another thing that adds to the confusion
is the word Pinscher. It is part of our working method not
our heritage. We are about 10 to 12 inches high and
come in three major colors, Red, (thats me) black/tan and
chocolate/tan. We love to walk with a gait like a show horse : )
We just prance around everywhere! Don't we sound cute!

This is the list of my parents items that
I have "accidently destroyed"

chair
numerous pieces of mail
any trash I can get my hands on
two pairs of shoes
all of my brother's (Jazzy Cat) toys
toliet paper...toliet paper... toliet paper...
my brother's food mat
a couple of pens
a picture w/frame
a couple of vhs tape covers
two plants
my fuzzy bed
my toy box

I am such a beggar for food! I love anything my parents
are eating. I especially love Coffee! My poppy spoils me
because my mommie won't let me eat everything!
He slips me stuff behind her back!

Things you should know about getting a min pin!

We are very cute!
Don't let our looks deceive you, we get into trouble.
We don't know better, but we tear things up.
You must be very firm with us.
You have to show us that we can't get away with everything.
We need to be moderately spoiled.
Please be patient. We need love even if we are bad.
We are not easy to take care of but we are worth the work.
Don't expect a quite and lazy dog!
We love attention.
